Our Advanced Heat Pumps & System Wiring Bootcamp is a comprehensive 1-day, in-person class held at our New Jersey training facility. Built for working technicians, this hands-on course gets directly into the mechanics of heat pump systems, including the crucial role of the 4-way reversing valve in switching between heating and cooling modes. You will cover advanced thermostat wiring configurations, testing different thermostat types and their compatibility with various systems. The curriculum also digs into the integration of electric strip heat, focusing on sizing, wiring requirements, and best practices for energy efficiency. By the end of this class, you will be able to diagnose, wire, and repair advanced heat pump systems.
